Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
These terms govern your use of our site. Dulce Escapada acts as an intermediary agent between you and travel-service providers. Our site is informational and does not process bookings or payments.
1. Who we are
Dulce Escapada is a travel agency at Calle José Celso Barbosa #81, Las Piedras, Puerto Rico, operating under Puerto Rico Tourism Company License No. 268, Authorization #197. Phone 787-528-2087; email dulceescapada.viajes@gmail.com.
2. Use of the site
This site is informational. It is not a booking engine and does not process payments. Information on destinations, prices, and availability is illustrative and may change without notice. All reservations are arranged and confirmed by phone or email.
3. Our role: intermediary
Dulce Escapada acts as an intermediary agent between you and travel-service providers (airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, carriers, insurers, and others — the "Suppliers"). We are not the owner or operator of those services, which are governed by each Supplier's terms that you accept when you contract for them.
4. Supplier responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for the acts, omissions, breaches, delays, cancellations, insolvency, injury, damage, or loss caused by Suppliers or by causes beyond our reasonable control. Any claim arising from a Supplier's service must be directed to that Supplier.
5. Pricing, deposits, payments, and cancellations
Prices and availability are confirmed at the time of booking and may change until then. Deposits, payments, changes, cancellations, and refunds are arranged directly with the Agency and are subject to Supplier policies and ours, which we will disclose before you contract.
6. Travel documents and insurance
It is your responsibility to hold a valid passport, visas, vaccinations, and other current requirements for each destination. We recommend purchasing travel insurance. We are not liable for losses arising from incomplete documentation or unmet entry requirements.
7. Force majeure
We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, weather, pandemics, civil unrest, government acts, strikes, or transport disruptions.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to our intermediary services will not exceed the service fees you paid us for the relevant transaction. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Intellectual property
Site content (text, images, logos, design) is owned by Dulce Escapada or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Puerto Rico, unless otherwise required by law.
11. Changes
We may modify these terms; the current version will be posted on the site with its date.
